Another weekend has passed, and it has been quite a good one. On Friday Christian and I went to a friends house to talk about something called "russ" in Norwegian. It is a tradition in Norway to be "russ" when you finish high school. Hard to explain, so you should google it. Anyway, we had a good time and enjoyed the company of my lovely friends. Vilde and I had a drawing contest, sort of... We drew each other dying different ways... When I now write about it, it sounds a bit sick. Vilde and I have that type of humour, so it is all good. I drew her getting eaten by Pacman, and another time she got sat on by Snorlax.

Yesterday we went to a party with the same people we met on Friday, plus some other people. It was all fun. Chris and I mostly sat with my friend Ida and her friend from New Zealand, Emma. We were the center of the party, of course(maybe not). And we had fun changing the music to random shit no one really wanted to listen to. Vilde knocked me over in the snow, that was mean.

I was going to take pictures from these events, but I kind of forgot...

Tomorrow I am going to England again. I have missed Sheffield. Even though it is only for a week, it is going to be nice to get away from Sokna! Haha.

It is one week until my vacation. Feels like I have been waiting for it forever, though I guess I have only waited since 4th of January (that is when I went back to school after Christmas). I cannot wait until I finish school. After summer I will be able to start something new and stuff. Yes, because what is new with me these days? I have gotten four offers for universities. I got offers for everything I applied for, so that is pretty good. I have decided which one is my my first choice, and which one is my backup plan. So hopefully you will be seeing me in Sheffield next year. Hurray!

I have been sick all week. The upside is that Christian is here, but he has been sick too. Poor thing. Right now I am struggling with an essay I have to write for Monday. "Norwegian language today". You see, Norwegian has become highly affected by the English language. We use English words and phrases in stead of Norwegian ones. Weird? I mean, Norwegian is pretty far from English? The thing is that English is the world language. Most Norwegian people hear it everyday, and get used to using it. Maybe one day everyone will talk English. Who knows. I like English, often I think it is easier to express myself with it. I have known Norwegian for over 18 years, but I have only known English for about 13. Weird that it has come to this. Though I guess it would be wrong to say I started knowing English when I started to learn it in school, because it was here before that. I just never thought of using it the same way as I use Norwegian.
